For a better feeling in the belly
Kombucha can make you feel good with its many live cultures and probiotics. In everyday life, we often forget how relaxing little feel-good moments can be. In the 7-Day Kombucha Challenge, we give you a little routine every day that you can then integrate into your day combined with a bottle of kombucha.
You don't need much at all to do this. Just a week with some space and a desire for kombucha. You're sure to feel energized after just one week of regular kombucha drinking, and with the added little pampering moments.
Day 1: Kombucha and drinking enough water
Today on Day 1, have a bottle of your favorite kombucha for breakfast. The rest of the day you should drink at least 2.5 liters of water. The guideline is 35 milliliters per kilogram of body weight. Too little fluid in your daily routine can be detrimental to your health. Your kidneys need fluid to remove waste products from the body. Digestion can become sluggish. Kombucha further nourishes your body with live cultures and enzymes and supports your gut.
Day 2: Alkaline Bath and Kombucha
Take an hour for yourself today and treat yourself to an alkaline bath with candles and kombucha. Alkaline bath salts can be purchased at the pharmacy or drug store. An alkaline bath can gently balance your body's acid-base balance. It also nourishes your skin from the outside. An alkaline bath also relaxes your muscles after exercise and helps you to regenerate more quickly. Kombucha can also help your body to positively influence your acid-base balance. The perfect combination!
Day 3: Get out into the fresh air and reward yourself with kombucha afterwards
Today it's time to get out into the fresh air. Whether you live in the big city or in the village, there's always an opportunity to escape into the countryside for an hour. Take an hour for a relaxing walk in the woods or even just in the park next door and then treat yourself to a chilled bottle of kombucha.
Day 4: Self-love meditation
Today celebrate your feelings and consciously allow emotions. Open the windows in your home and let some fresh air into your four walls. Take half an hour and listen inside yourself. How do you feel today? What moves you? How is your gut feeling? What do you feel like doing today? Do you do things because you think you have to do them? Breathe in and out deeply and feel inside yourself. Then slowly sip a bottle of kombucha and let your body know that you are there for it and ready to listen.
Day 5: Alkaline soup and Kombucha
Today we're having this delicious alkaline carrot soup for dinner. Combined with a bottle of kombucha, your gut will thank you.
Day 6: Yoga Stretching and Kombucha
Today your body will be treated to a proper stretching program. You don't have to be a professional yogi or super athletic to do this. Instead of a yoga mat, you can use a blanket or a comfortable rug. Afterwards a bottle of Kombucha and you can start the day full of energy or fall into bed relaxed. Click here for the video.
Day 7: Enjoy a Kombucha Mocktail with friends
You can be proud of yourself and the last few days. To end the week, have a delicious non-alcoholic kombucha mocktail with your friends. For 2 people you will need:
- 1 bottle of Raw Ginger
- Juice of a 1/4 lemon
- 2 lemon slices
- 1 tsp basil
- Peppermint leaves for embellishment
Sharing happy moments is much more fun than enjoying them alone.
